Few Questions.

Hello there. I have a few questions I hope to find answers to...

1.) When trying to receive an Innate Ability, such as Attack Speed Bonus on a Chigoe, do you need it to come from an actual ASB plate from the mob, or does any Chigoe plate have a chance to get it?

2.) My monster isn't level 50 yet, but can feral skills continue leveling up to their cap of 50 even if the monster is already level 50 itself?

3.) How do I make it run away from TP / Magic Attacks?

Appreciate the help.

1) You can only get the ability on the soul plate.
2) Yes.
3) I don't know, I would like to know that too.

Thanks a lot for the info. I read "Back off a bit" command makes it happen, but I haven't seen my pet do it yet and it's very defensive...not sure what else to do.

In my experience, any plate can have any innate on it, but the chances are very small. I actually got a Ram with the Innate Auto-Regain off of a plate with Paralyzing Attack.

Yes, you can not only continue leveling the skills you already have, you can also give it new skills or get rid of the old ones, the pets level has nothing to do with its skills.

I believe that you need Somewhat Defensive Temperment to get your pet to run away from attacks. However, each type of pet is different, and you may need some form of Tame or Wild to get it to work properly. Also, not all pets will run away, no matter what temperment you give them, certain types of pets will not react the way you want them to. I don't know if it's just bad programming, or something to do with the monsters themselves.

Mobs can start with innates that aren't on the plate and they can start with innates that you can't even get normally on a plate that monster drops
(I got a tiger with Magical Damage Reduction)

Monsters can learn up to 2 innates. 1 innate is the trait in the plate. The other one is some other random trait (no clue if it's from a pool or if it's ANY skill).

Ah I see. Yeah my monster is a Chigoe. I wanted to go the extra mile and try to get an Attack Speed Bonus Chigre from ZNM, but gettting the plate in time since most people don't want to hold him for long is pretty tough. Yeah I know already there isn't anything special besides the color, but still XD
