    Uhmmm

Just move this thread if it is in the wrong section please.

Something that occured to me, but is the times on EU site in actual archiac GMT or do they actually mean WET or UTC?

This since I can never figure out when events actually are supposed to happen if I only look at the EU site.

No clue what you're talking about, but I hope this helps
The official U.S. time - clock

Also next time try to give an actual name for your thread in case people want to search for it using keywords...

    Hey man!

They never adjust for daylight savings so will end 10pm for me and 11pm for you I believe.

The update begins at 9am PST which is 12 noon EST. Hope that helps you figure out what you need.

BTW This thread has epic potential. I would love to see this grow to 100+ pages of nonsense.

England is on GMT+1 now because of daylight savings, so Europe is GMT+2 atm^^

    Just for you!

GMT (Greenwich Mean Time - Not actually been used since 1972)
WET (Western European Time - The timezone UK is in)
UTC (Coordinated Universal Time - This is what people usually are referring to when they say "GMT")

What's tricky is the time it ends! 14 PDT = 2pm not 4pm so add 3 hours to that and you get 5pm EST not 7pm EST! Confusing? I THINK NOT

    That doesn't make sense.

I'm surprised this is still in advanced.

Still used by US gov. too. I get a lot (approx. 200) emails a day from a USG service with everything time-stamped in GMT.

UTC is the international name. While GMT is still used many people still use it over UTC just because its tradition. Like calling Xmas Christmas

Also whenever you hear the military use Zulu hours it too is also GMT/UTC 0 +/- hours.

We also have a leap second this year if im not mistaken.
