Is that the threat of death is never really there. I mean yeah pa kent and lionel hit me but you could kinda see both coming. Lex, clark, lana, lois, jimmy. Those characters very well can't die (though if lana kicked off I wouldnt sweat it for a second, and lex being dead now is straight bullshit anyway), and if chloe dies I'd just stop watching the show.

My first and basically only experience with smallville was when a friend was over and he said that smallville was on at this time so we tried to find the channel and stopped at some show with terrible acting/action shots/graphics and my friend mentioned how shit this was and then the smallville opening bit came on and I looked at him and sighed.

In conclusion, the show is shit and you are shit for even liking it, I know this because of my extensive history with this show.
