    Sarameya - More than 12

    So the general consensus i've gotten from everyone is that you really only need 12 to kill him with np. But if you had to build a third party for ranged attackers, which would work best?
    4-5 BLM?
    Mix of BLMs and RNGs?

    Just curious which damage works best.

    SAM works fine for it, we did our first 2 yesterday with 14 people and we had no problems. Just make sure that anyone that goes anywhere near it, (literally near it) has a fire resist set to swap into and barfira in case they trigger CS or if it's in GoH mode. We didn't use BLMs at all, so I don't know how that works.

    RNG and SMN both do excellent damage, I personally prefer SMN due to the ability to fall back on curing if shit's going poorly, but it's an easy fight regardless. DD tanks are better than actual tanks if you have proper support!

    3 parties of MeleeX3-4, healer, brd.

    Swap brds before pop.

    Unleash WSs and JAs.

    Dead in 30 seconds.

    Our LS is just now dippin into Zerg mode. We got like 2 or 3 Kris' and working on a Kclub, so its good to know that Sarameya is zergable. Prolly won't start will that method yet, still trying to practice it.
    I'm liking the DD tank idea, except everyone's been passing Suzy boots for awhile, lol. Moar Suzaku!!

    You don't need any Kclub or Mkris Drks tbh.

    EDIT: Well with 12, I suppose that would help.

    It's apparently doable without two hours; buffed DDs, offensive subs (IE /sam, sam/war, etc...) and stored TP before hand.

    Dead within a few seconds.

    Since, I have no real experience with the fight, I will link you to the master tactician. Also, anything you can do without 2hrs is a blessing. That way you can do the fight back to back for as many pop sets as you have (much more efficient this way).

    BLM is awful for it. You can use one for random stun (except for the sequence where its immune), and dispel spam, but thats about it.

    We use 4-6 rngs and do not allow them to barrage or WS. It may sound silly or slower, but in reality it keeps all the rng's just below the tanks hate so we never have cerb running around -gaing everyone's ass.

    I'm sure you will (or maybe already have) gotten all the omg you dont zerg this you suck responses. We don't, this works fine.

    I can also attest that RNG's hate is manageable by laying off Barrage and WS, and that people who ignore this and pull hate will be your biggest obstacle to winning the fight. Also, the fewer tanks the better.

    You don't need to zerg Sara with 2hrs so DRKs stick with scythe- just do what Neo said. Build an alliance of merit parties basically (3-4DDs and yes they should /SAM, healer, BRD and if you have them, COR), rotate bards as if you were in a zerg (use Troub but no SV needed) so everyone gets 6 songs and go to town on it with all other JAs. Sod any kind of separate ranged party. Don't gimp yourself with fire resist gear or anything either, just have one or two WARs to voke it at start and mages to be on the ball and cast some Curagas midfight. It doesn't have that much HP, around 50k and no noticeable regen. We only recently did our first Saras as a LS and annihilated 3 in a row with 9 melee DDs (one of which was THF and had 15 peeps total in alliance) and were shocked at how much overkill that was. Every fight was less than a minute, I'd post the parse but I'm not the one who took it. Only thing I recommend if you do several in a row is to bring a COR or two to speed up JA timers, esp Troubadour (and the COR buffs are nice too). We were done in about 20mins, it was ridiculous.

    Rngs and Smns are great damage and require less support. Melee like Sam, War, Drg, and Drk are excellent but usually you don't want more than 3-4 if you're doing a regular set-up because they need a lot of healing. Plds surprisingly put out a good amount of damage because of atonement.

    If you're fighting it regularly having a lot of support is a good thing. Sara can output a lot of damage and it needs to dispelled very quickly. Seriously the biggest thing in the fight is not about damage it's about your support.

    If you're going the standard route and there's a Samurai in your alliance, they should be tanking. Seigen was made for Sarameya.

    CORs are extremely useful here. Gear a couple up for damage and put them in RNG parties. Dark shot is instant dispel, which is nice since with spikes up he regenerates extremely fast.

    If you drk 2hr zerg it (or even without 2hr) DONT use souleater when SS is up Q_Q. I think I died in 20s when it opened up with stoneskin.

    We've done this fight several times in my LS, we started out doing SMN and rng dmg to get it down, now we just melee zerg it, 3 brds, melee and let them at it with 2 PLD tanks. Everything usually goes well and chain spell has wiped us probably 3-4 times, but we haven't lost a pop yet, we were always able to restart and keep the NM from depoping then go to town on him :D

    We went with tank party, DD party and mage party.
    Tank/DD party was self-explainatory, Mage party had 3 SMNs, COR, BLM and RDM who focused on Dispel mainly. SMNs used Spinning Dive.
    Whenever it enterred Howl phase under 25%, or when it got to 10%, I made DDs pull back so they didn't die like before.
    We've only done one run so far, and lack DRKs with zerg weapons etc, but it worked OK once everyone knew what they were doing.
