youtube vids on bg

I know this is a dumb question but I can't seem to get the Youtube videos to work through this forum.
My flash player is updated.
No scripts are being blocked and this website and youtube are on my whitelist. I've tried turning absolutely everything off and it still doesn't work. Going to youtube itself and watching videos there works, though. But if the [video]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= thing is used it just says "BORKED."

can you see vids on youtube? if you can't then unblock ytimg.com

and have you tried reinstalling firefox?

In Tools > Options > Content check to see if you have java/script enabled too btw

Assuming that you have the latest version of Flash, and you have properly handled any conflicting addons (such as AdBlock, NoScript, a Greasemonkey script, etc) then the only explanation is your browser is fucked or you have a virus.

I honestly think you just have an addon problem though, especially considering you're using firefox. Having everything disabled in NoScript is stupid, uninstall it and if that doesn't fix the problem then uninstall the next addon. You'll figure it out eventually and then you can start reinstalling.

I normally don't have everything disabled on it, I was just showing that even if I do I still have the problem.

I guess I'll try reinstalling, because yeah youtube works on its website and on other websites if it's embedded in a story or something... just doesn't work here .
