I was like 11 or 12, me and a group of friends from school used to all go to the indoor swimming pool at the leisure center in my town (pool was huuuuge, it was more like a waterpark). We met a group of girls quite a bit older than us, they were probably around 15. This one girl liked me, we were all in one of the main pools, towards the deep end, just holding on to the side chatting. She went under the water and pulled me down under with her and full on frenched me for about 10 seconds.

Who did you get in your first fight with? Wasn't really a fight, but it was a guy named Marcel. Happened in 10th grade when I lived in Oakland. Some random white guy I never even met who was trying to be a thug to impress his friends or some shit. He would constantly bump into me intentionally. One day I bumped him back and he punched me in the cheek. Didn't really feel it but I bit my cheek. Didn't fight back cause I was honestly scared of getting my ass shot. Don't think he bothered me again after that though.

I was born in Columbus Ohio, grew up on the east side, lots of gangs. When I was about eight my grandma and grandpa moved me to the other side of town so I could go to a school without drugs and violence (mum's been in and out of prison/rehab for the last 20 odd years, so I lived with my grandparents a lot).

My favorite childhood memory was when I got my first bike at six. I felt like such hot shit during the week I had it. It was stolen by an older neighbor boy.

Favorite TV show was Batman and then TMNT. Swatcats briefly too. I think this is where my furry seeds were planted :3

I dunno if I had a favorite song, I didn't listen to much music as a kid, though my mum would play REM sometimes. I didn't have a best friend until I was about 13 due to trust issues.

Favorite food, I know it sounds weird, but it was those little powered doughnuts that come in a bag/roll of six. I didn't get them often, but they were so awesome.

I've been in a lot of fights, I can't remember the first one really. One of the ones I do remember was in 3rd grade in my new school, some kid called my pants gay so I unleashed on him and got suspended from school for three days. They were a pair I had gotten for my birthday from my mom when she was in rehab. They looked like blue demin with green neon accents. They were probably ugly, but I liked them at the time.

My first crush was with my best friend. When I told him about it (we were about 14) he punched me in the jaw and I was exiled from that group at school.

The first year of highschool was tough, I had 0 friends and was picked on by just about everyone. Sophomore year I met Thomas, my second crush and first relationship. He was everything I wanted in a guy. We nearly went all the way too, but his mother caught us together and they moved him to a different school. After that I lost all contact with him. I have no idea where he is now, I do miss him at times.

After that was Jeremy, who I fell for at the end of junior year. By the end of the summer I realized what a douche he was and left him. He told his father I stole some shit from him and I ended up in court, which is when my mother found out I was gay and then disowned me .

My grandparents (same ones from before) took me in, again. They were a bit troubled with my sexuality, as they were religious, but they still loved me.

The beginning of senior year I was confused and troubled and dated a chick who was big into the anime scene. We fooled around and again nearly went all the way but were stopped when her dad walked in on us and called the cops on me (she was 17 and I was 18). Long story short, the charges were dropped and I was failing school.

I squeaked by because the pity from my English teacher who found out about my mom. Anyways, I got accepted into OSU that spring, at a regional campus. On the last day of school I wore my tail and got a lot of questions and met my fourth mate, who was also a furry (a ferret). We dated all through the summer and into the first quarter of college.

Over winter break, I decided to bring him home to my grandparents, who had moved just outside the city. They did that to be a bit closer to me, and because they were never really city people, they moved into the city for me.

Anyways, we were driving (I was behind the wheel) and hit a patch of ice in the middle of a banked turn along the Scioto river. The car slid and rotated 180 degrees before crossing lanes and going into the guardrail which was too low for the road, and the car flipped over it. I was unharmed with just scratch on my arm and face, but my boyfriend (who wasn't wearing his seatbelt, which I didn't know) had fallen out of his seat and his head was in between the dash and roof/road. The paramedics said he probably died instantly.

That was also the Christmas that my mom was released from rehab (for the fourth or fifth time) and then arrested a week later with 1/4 lb of coke in her car. She was pulled over for running a stop sign.

I gave up on her at that point and refused to be near her. Christmas money and such was spend on her bail as my grandparents didn't want to leave her there over xmas.

The funeral for my boyfriend was the day before christmas eve. His parents didn't know he was gay, he was going to come out after xmas with me by his side. They didn't blame me for the accident, but I felt like I should have been blamed. I never told them about his sexuality, or where we were really going in the car.

That period destroyed me. I sold my stuff, and moved away against my grandparents wishes. My grandpa died that March. I missed his passing by just a few minutes because the bus taking me to the hospital was running late. After that I moved back in with my grandma to take care of her.

She died about a month later. They were buried in plots next to each other, together in life, and death. Their love and compassion changed and shaped a lot of who I am today. As a final gift, they gave me $15,000 to resume my schooling and get a degree so I wouldn't end up like my parents.

I know I kinda switched from answering questions to my life story, but that's the shortened version. Sorry for the bad writing too, it's like 4am and I'm crying as this stuff is coming back to me.

Best friend? My best friend growing up was this guy named stephen. On my 11th birthday no one showed up except him. He lived 3 blocks away and I'm entirely sure it was because of free food but yeah whatever. My best friend now is some chick named Brandi.
