Yes it is, but the 360 controller is garbage for fighting games.

My roommate bought the XBL version. The net code is horrendous for both Garou and KoF98:UM, to the point where they're both unplayable online.

Was there a limited NA release when it came out? I got most of the cast for MUGEN but never saw an arcade cabinet anywhere.

Garou? You could probably find it in an MVS in about 8 arcades in the states. lol

It's rather unfortunate as well that there are only about 15 arcades in the country now. :\

We had this game in our old arcade years ago until it closed down (Arario Arcade in Alpharetta, Georgia at North Point Mall); one of the better and biggest arcades in the south east. I have no idea why the owner left because I was good friends with him and he disappeared with the place closed down when I was on vacation for two weeks...
Not many people played the game besides the owner and me and a friend of mine. Most others were into the DDR/Tekken/MvsC/SNKvsC/ThirdStrike of sorts. Kain was fun to play though
