    I confess to being one of the ones that ran off the edge doing that while "high level blues" was the message. However I'm happy to say it didn't take long to fly back and make sure there wasn't anything good to be had... I saw a few people splatter when they did it. :D

    However I didn't die, I mean how hard is it to his space before you hit the ground?

    It's just annoying because you have to glide to the ground the fly up

    you die before you hit the ground if you fall from high enough.

    I'm not sure how high that is, but I'm sure people were complaining about it in closed beta.

    You have to fall for X amount of time before you die, otherwise abyss deaths would be 10+ min of falling then splat.

    I tested this in Sanctum elevator to the boss I jumped down and half way I died in mid air.

    I'm kinda pissed at myself for not realizing this was what was happening... I just assumed it was lag. I've died a number of times while aether farming because of falling, but only once or twice from actually hitting the ground. I'm getting very good at running out of flight time, falling to within a few feet of the ground, then gliding away, but this would explain those few times when I just die in midair. /sigh
