Attestation NMs - popping and killing method questions

Wanted to ask a couple questions about killing the Vanguard Eye that pops the Attestation NMs as well killing the NM themselves.

    1. Is it possible for a solo thf to get to the eye, die near the attestation eye, rr and fully rest and recover and pull eye back to group? This would be done by clearing eye on the ramp and the 2 eyes near the ramp and the thf soloing by powder boots then using flee with Af boots for a total of 1 min 15 sec of flee in addition to using trotter boots and perfect dodge if needed to gain distance. Then a person would be waiting down the ramp to the right of it to voke the Vanguard Eye (which would appear red/claimed) out of the train. Is this feasible?

    2. Killing the NM itself. 1st thf aggroes the NM to make it spawn it's helpers. Thf dies along the side. Thf RRs and then pulls a NM Shadow helper and kites all helpers away. Tank vokes NM from train of mobs. Does this work and avoid the group hate of the NM since you first aggroed a helper and not the NM? And can a group of standard 18 alliance kill this NM? Going after the dagger NM btw.

Please provide any advice or info if possible because all I'm going on is Dynamis Bums and Wiki strategies. Figure I'd like some first hand input from people here since they have done it multiple times. Thank you.

You can have any job aggro the NM and have someone stun/voke it off him, you dont even need to run very far either for example the aegis attest u dont even need to make it halfway to the ramp heading up to yagudo floor from quad floor.

X job aggro's NM and runs --> X job grabs NM -> Person who aggro'd dies --> success

    1. That might work but I wouldn't recommend using that method because there's a lot of things that could go wrong while doing that, a more common and efficient method is to send a RDM/NIN up there to solo it by DoT > Die > Reraise > DoT > Die > Reraise > etc. It's HP is fairly low so it should only take about 6 Reraises. Another way to do it, is to send a RDM/NIN and a SAM to the Attestation Eye tower and have the RDM/NIN aggro the Eye, use powder boots, and train all the mobs away while the SAM solos the eye, should only take a few weaponskills to kill it.

    2. We use that method, and it's always worked fine for us. A group of 18 people should have no problem taking down any of the NM

Dagger NM is the easiest of the attest NMs. What I usually do is kite it along with it's adds (brd whm blm) and have everyone kill the adds first, they go down fast. All Quibitel uses while kiting is ancient magic, so let him start casting, get 30' from him and just worry about the brds trying to requiem you Q_Q

    To OP:

    1. As they said its probably doable if thf brings multiple powder boots but very risky, you would train a large number of mobs (and hydra run pretty fast), eye would take longer than hydras to arrive so you would have to wait for him resulting on a mess.

    2. I'd like to know this too. We use to either have several members hold/kite adds while zerg NM or hold NM and kill adds first.

Does this work ? I mean, if puller deaggros adds they return and assist NM (not sure if alliance aggro or just assist NM), does having puller die change something ?

    1. I really don't know why you would want to do it that way. If you send a thf, mage, sam to the eye, the same can solo it while the thf does the sack. If you do it right you can even make it all the way up there with just one sack. FYI powder boots/sprinter shoes are you friend.

    2. Once again with the mult sack thing, no reason for it. once you have the NM locked on you can cast on any side of the tower, even if you can't see him. Have a blm ES bind and take off running. The pets normally run out of the tower while the NM stays inside. Once the pets are clear the rest of the ally kills it.

Edit: Also for the person that bound it. if you just keep running, while the ally kills the NM the pets will turn back after the NM takes so much damage. Which means the puller doesn't have to die ether.
