    Rule of Thumb

    If watching that game's cutscenes on Youtube is funner than playing the game, that game isn't good.

    ie
    Tim Schafer's games
    Batman AA
    Final Fantasy

    etc.

    No it doesn't. Just because things are left unsaid doesn't mean you can draw random implications from statements.

    You can have good taste concerning just fighters or all of videogames, but Mortal Kombat is going to score low either way.

    If I don't like fighting games but a particular fighting game has a nice story, I will likely like watching the cut-scenes more than playing the game. That doesn't mean the game sucks.
