What's the first quarter-drop video game you ever played?

I can't remember exactly which it was, but I've got it narrowed down to five games - Tempest, Pac-Man, Berzerk, Defender or Zaxxon.

Later on I do remember playing Moon Patrol a LOT at the local YMCA, and Galaga & Robotron 2084 at the bowling alley.

Was a crusing racing game i can't remember the name out of the life of me. you had choice with 8 cars, one was a kind of Beetle Orange car with 2 fat man driving it. And you had to cross the USA (wsn't named Crusing USA) so you were racing and you had to choose between left and right to change your path. and try to get a new timer to extand you race.


GOD what was it already (i know they released it on SNES or n64) but it wasn't crusin USA lol

One of the first machines I remember playing was 1942. I do remember there being another cabinet or two in the food court where it resided, but I can't recall what they were. 'course, I never really played any of them beyond the one quarter or whatever I might grub from my mom.

Galaga and Snake, coincidentally i have galaga on nes. and suprisingly, after such a beating it still works quite well. the only game i cant get working is Nintendo's tetris, as it will freeze midway

also snake is a wonderful game

Galaga, still play it when I get the chance. Average game on 1 credit around 350-400k, I can get close to the 1 mil mark on a good game.

Oh man, the first time I went to a real arcade (not just the pizza place arcade) this was the first unit that ever really made me go "oh shit,I must come here more."
