Edit: Got around the problem by moving the file in question into another folder, update done now.

running update through pol atm. 6hrs+ remaining >.< looks like i'm playing some jeanne d'arc the next few hrs still. least heroes is on to watch in 2 hrs.

What file did you move?

I had to move the ffximain.dll file, and to be safe I moved the ffximain.dll.tmp2 with it. After that I got another error for the ffxi.dll file, and moved it as well. These files were all located in the playonline/squareenix/finalfantasyxi folder in your directory. I just took those files out of the folder and it worked fine.

I'm still getting the same error Montgomery was getting...

Update only has 2 files left that it's trying to download, the first of which is FFXimain.dll (this is also where the update keeps failing). 22 attempts to complete this party of the update so far.

I've tried moving those two files to another folder as suggested, but still no luck >.>

If someone wants to explain the "right" way to zip up all the modified files, I can make a package.

Edit: More specifically, is there some files that store my POL info that I should NOT be including? Will just everything in the ROM folders be sufficient?
