Monk?

I stopped watching Monk after they ruined the show by making Monk the punch line for everything. The series is ending in like a week or something. Kinda glad they're ending the abomination they turned it into. I wish they woulda just kept it to the orginallness of it, ah well. Anyone else a fan of the show?

In the previews it's like "Monk is trying to solve his wife's case, but he must do so after he finds his own killer." just watch USA for like 15 mins and it's bound to show up somewhere. At the end he looks very weak and he's bending over his wife's grave.

Monk started out awesome, but the series dragged out for way too long. The character lost his charm after like...6 or 7 seasons? The series jumped the shark a while back imo.

I watch this show with my girlfriend and we both feel that the last season is just eh. The only interesting episode was when they brought Sharona back for that cameo.

It's good that they're wrapping it up, they've done all they can do with Monk and while I still find it funny, the same things I used to find endearing and hilarious in Monk I kinda find annoying and pretentious. There were some good episodes this season, like the one with Sharona and the UFO one, but I'll be glad to finally see some character development (even if it is just his death).

The new EP felt kinda super hammed up. The doctor saying that he's gonna die about 30 times felt SUPER forced.

I hate that black guy. I remember seeing him in 24 and thinking he couldn't act for shit. Same thing goes for the latest episode.

I think it was a kinda lame ending. 8 year build up to a 2 minute warning, and then he has a step-daughter? I was expecting more really.
