[Garuda] Blacklion and Duveteca LS

With the upcoming server merge of Garuda -> Lakshmi, I received a curious PM on FFXIAH, from Blacklion of Garuda. He wanted to discuss a linkshell merge.

I doubt we're going to entertain the idea of merging with another LS, because my LS is happy with our current status on Lakshmi. We're not huge, we don't camp every HNM window, and we don't have 50 relics in the LS ... but we claim HNM's from time to time, we have a monthly event rotation, we gear up our people ... and we're satisfied with that.

That being said, what can the Garudites here tell us about this person and his LS? Thanks in advance!

Blacklion is a member of DynaLounge which I'm a sack holder in. He seems a pretty good guy. I know his LS does Einhejar at an EU friendly time as a lot of ppl from my social shell SecretofMana are members. I've never done Einhejar with his LS and I'm not sure what other events they do.

I don't know too many ppl from his LS but those that I do know a long time are good ppl. Those they come and do Dyna with us seem pretty OK too and there's never any drama.

I'm not sure how many ppl who know Blacklion actually post on BG other than Fullen.

He asked to join my linkshell on Garuda, was reject for reasons due to helping our competition camp things. He didn't seem to be anything ground breaking.

Oh the stories of Blacklion, From what I hear of Blacklion he gears himself first and formost over his linkshell members unless you are his "boy". But other then that he's one of those guys who thinks he's the shit but isn't really imo eventhough he's my blacklover :3(no homo!).

He was in Censhura which was the big time HNM ls on garuda for 2-3years with nasa. But he was only a part of the linkshell for maybe 2-3weeks and got a lolheca cap before he was kicked for not attending linkshell events I think if I remember correctly not to sure, have to ask Zhi on this one....

Other then that nothing really bad about him that I know of except heard he's paid like 20-25mil on a few pairs of hachi pants god don't know why he needs more then 1 pair lol for his single account he owns but meh maybe it helped maybe it didn't.

I was browsing their forum yesterday, just trying to learn what I could learn about them. Aside from the fact that their forum is a visual cancer, I noticed there's a section named "How not to suck" ... I went in there and saw a guide for playing RDM and WHM. Being a fairly well-equipped and skilled RDM myself, this piqued my interest.

The first line read "Ok, i have never used either of these jobs, im just going by my knowledge of things," .... seriously? Ok buddy.

Quite a few of Trip members had joined Delirium(Cens) back in January and I have not heard anything of doing znm with Blacklion's group. Why would anyone want to join a group that pools your triggers? My pop is my drop!!!

The funniest part about this Forum, is because nobody here has been in my LS, and i lold at the person thinking they know how i run ZNM, and Sev, i beleive i was rejected cuz i just wanted to join to do something else in my free time, idc bout the gear. And sov, you hear wrong buddy, not to mention i got kicked because of an arguement i got in zhi in /tells., i've only gotten 3 items in my LS which has been going since august, Get your facts straight.

Just stating what I hear god don't get all defensive . For example you kicking someone from salvage/not letting them lot on usu feet cause you wanted them or something like that I don't know the full facts and don't really care for them as it didn't effect me lol. As for joining/wanting to join TheBlueprint you wanted to but you didn't want to camp whenever we was camping Faf or something unless you was bored so of course that would be "rejection" if you look at it. But meh its whatever people do what they want in this game.

To be honest, I don't think your Linkshell would like the merge. Before I quit they had a LOT of members (at one point was shouting..?) and it seemed too cluttered for me. It sounds like you guys are content. Don't get me wrong, Blacklion is a good guy (pretty popular on Garuda), has great gear, and knows what he's talking about. I don't remember anyone else in his Linkshell standing out but him really. I personally don't think it's a good idea.

We weren't doing a Censhura and Blacklion's shell team up. It was people from our shell joining his shell just to do ZNM's, because as you said, we were too lazy to do it ourselves.

It fell through when we realized wiping to Sarameya with 20+ people was absolutely laughable, when we could easily 6 man it without breaking a sweat. That's when we decided to do Tier1-3 with BL's shell (your pop your drop), and do Tier4's as Censhura exclusively, because picking an item from your own pop was retarded.

And BL, I think Sov was talking about TheBlueprint rejecting you, not Censhura.
