+1 to Archi. I used to wear mine with football jerseys and what not. I didn't wear them at all last summer though, and will probably end up giving them to salvation army this year lol.



P.S.

Those shorts with high waste line in the OP are ridiculous. Very short jean shorts are cool on the women..... if they belong in shorts in the first place.

it's funny cause the convo came about the idea that when we were growing up they were AWESOME. I know most of my shorts were jean shorts back then.

But at some point they became terribad for some reason.

Only time they are acceptable is the REALLY short ones on girls with a nice ass. Anything else is no way.

All the shorts I wear regularly are Nylon Mesh (like basketball shorts), bathing suits/board shorts with the liner cut out, or thick cottony ones (like sweatpant material).

This is exactly the type of shorts that all my shorts are now days.
I am not sure how these types of shorts pushed all other to the side and made then unacceptable to be worn by men but these kinds of shorts have taken over the world of shorts.
