    best way to deal with blood:

    if it's still wet, just get it in some hot water quick with a bit of ... i dunno what you call it there but something that you use to soak clothes in. the blood soaks up the water, the cells asplode, and it's easier to wash.

    If the blood's dry you can try soaking it for a bit to get it wet, then get some bicarb soda and rub it into where the stain is. then soak it in hot water with some of that soaking detergent. Careful with doing this on coloured garments that you care about since sometimes the bicarb can cause the colour to come out unevenly.

    The best thing for cleaning blood is to get it into hot water asap while it's still wet.
