My uncle's dog has flees but that mutt never even came upstairs. Its been gone for a week and a half now and just in the past 2 days are flees popping up in my room from the carpet. My laptop is on a crate so I'm on the floor 90% of the time, so you can see how this is a prob to me.

Clean your room, vacuum carpets, wash your clothes, wash bed sheets w/ hot water, take a shower with anti-bacterial soap just in case. Wait for a week...wear clean socks meanwhile.

shave your balls and trail the hair from your room, through your house and out the front door. even if some of the fleas hang around, itll keep them off your nuts

Bring it to a self-service laundry place then, it costs like 2 bucks. Or leech a school laundry...or ask your gf/mom.

Bed sheets are incredibly convenient for flea larvae to grow and you really wouldn't want to get them infested. Take quick action or you may have to pay crapload of money to a pest control company.

Chair won't probably help either, fuckers can jump like 2 ft.

...adn yeah, they probably won't leave by themselves until winter.

Oh, I thought you meant for the carpets the hot water. I don't have a bed, so I don't have bed sheets. I have a polyester (i think) sleeping bag. I know it's not cotton, that's for sure. (also think its hand wash only)

yeah... when my family dog was still alive, it got flea's once and they were fucking awful, steam cleaning the carpets, couch cushions, washing your sheets, vaccuming out the crevices of your box spring, and mattress will help out a lot, if your place is a sty you many want to consider completely cleaning out the place from wall to wall and using bug bombs.

Salt&Borax + regular vacuum should work on carpets. Of course the best method is to have it steam cleaned but...yeah.

Just do it fast, the more you wait the more costly/annoiyng it gets.

My uncle stole a rug doctor a long time ago. At least for my room, I just had it skeet shampoo/water all over the floor then sucked it up w/ its vacuum component. I'm out of here in two weeks anyways to my grandma's for the summer. Not interested in cleaning the entire house. (big ass 2 story house, ect)Just want them out of my room.

They can only jump 8-10 inches max generally so a chair works fine.

Dont bother with foggers they wont work for the majority of flea infestations as it will only kill the living fleas while the ones in egg form are completely immune to it since they are in a waterproof casing.(People use salt and various other things because this dries out the fleas casing making them more susceptible to chemicals)

If all you do is fog rooms with the bug bombs you wont get rid of the eggs at all and they can stay dormant for 8 months, this is why you MUST VACUUM, the vibrations and noise from the vacuum makes the fleas come out of their egg form to look for food so that you are able to vacuum them up. **SUPER IMPORTANT** (EMPTY THE BAG OF YOUR VACUUM CLEANER, THEY WILL CRAWL BACK OUT IF YOU DO NOT, they can also crawl back out of sinks and toilets)

For day to day things when you aren't cleaning carpets and washing clothes try to wear white long socks, they cant jump higher on to you then the length of most socks, so you can just pick them off your socks and stick them in a water bottle or whatever.

Also another neat thing is to put a tray of water with soap in it in the infected room and have a lightbulb just above the water, the fleas will jump into the water because they like the heat and be unable to crawl out because of the soap.

Heat is the main thing that attracts them not light, you would be better off dangling your balls post fap above the water.
