    it really does seem like a very terrible show, and i watch virtually every show on television that airs on nbc and abc.

    some peeps crash on an island. there is a smoke monster on the island. there are other people on the island called "the others". there used to be some scientists on the island. the others killed the scientists and took over their community. there is some time travel.

    I never watched Lost, but I've read a bit on Lostpedia about time travel and a smoke monster and ancient temples and shit, so I watched the series finale

    They don't answer any of the mysteries and everyone dies and their consciousnesses create an alternate universe where they live out their lives and then gather in a church and "move on" together
