has anyone had any problems with this?

i decided to give it a try and i got the blood ruby fairly quick (1/27) and the starry diamond even quicker (1/8). now im trying to get the sapphire and ive been at it for hours, hopping between channels. currently at 0/210.

does anyone know if its specific nodes or a specific zone or am i just having the worst luck ever with this?

Worst luck ever. I got 2 of the ruby ones before seeing the sapphire one (and still don't have it) with roughly the same number.

This is the most random bs i have ever seen. finally got the azure sapphire after 520 nodes. i think counting added to the insanity.

Gathered from ~220 diamond nodes, ~180 sapphires, and ~150 rubies. Gave up trying after only having the starry diamond to show for it.

Was like 10 rubies, 81 diamonds, and 92 sapphires for me, but couldn't bring myself to pay the 2m+ to finish the upgrade.

I went like 1/7 on the ruby, 1/70 on the diamond, (1/120 on ruby again, goddamnit), sapphire continues to elude me.

yeah, 2.3mil is a little redonkulous. they need to lower it. i definately wont upgrade until after i get my fenris or 2.0 comes out.

You got 520 sapphires in the process? Sell them all and pay for the test + have a few million left over.

Or craft em, you'd make 13 mil easy from those alone.

i sold 250, crafted the rest and made scrolls, selling for a nice amount.

I could never sell scrolls. Any time I tried, some douche would constantly undercut me. Doesn't really help that the ones people like to use aren't locked out by the Expert test, either.

That's the game though; lots of retarded 12 year olds coming from WoW thinking they need to undercut everything. I sold them for 4k each in stacks of 10 and they always sold. Sometimes took a few days, sometimes sold as I'm putting them up.

Likewise. If someone undercuts me I just leave them up. They sell the next day or so, and I made more money than that guy so it's all good to me. It's not like FFXI where consumables (besides food) are pretty much only used for missions. People use pots, scrolls, and power shards constantly and will pay whatever for them as long as the price is somewhere around the usual going rate. Someone will buy up the cheap ones, and everyone else will have to buy yours or go without consumables for a few days.

i never put my scrolls on the broker. when i want to sell, i set up shop in primum. between the people dueling and the people actually pvping, they stop by and pick up 10-20 at a time. no one undercuts and i have only seen maybe 1 person set up shop next to me for cheaper/same price. its a very effective way to sell them and no tax to list on broker.
