I pulled this DVD drive from my PC for replacement because I was having some issues with it, it's able to read some DVDs, but I suspect the lens might be somehow damaged. (sometimes it takes too long to read the disc, or doesn't read at all... especially dual layer) I'm hoping to find someone more technically advanced than me to fix and use it for good.

It fits in a Gateway Md2614u laptop PC. It has Labelflash, which is an alternative to Lightscribe. I'll include the instructions that came with my new laptop.
