Codec thing seemed to help. I tried it without a certain mod and it works fine now after I updated the codecs.
I wasn't going to try and disable certain ones until after I made sure updating them didn't work. Before I updated them I tried it without mods and it still wouldn't work. I've never had any problems with codecs before so this is a first for me.
Yeah they really need to fix their crashes for the games they make. I played Fallout 3 at a friend's house and it kept crashing in the virtual world. I hope new vegas wont crash like crazy but I highly doubt that.
