Fucked up bugs.

I got the Oblivion GoTY edition a week or so ago. Played through it and during a quest I apparently contracted vampireitis. I eventually turned into a vamp after three days (I didn't really notice - my fault - but still..) Tried doing the quest to cure it and the shit is bugged and will not work with the GoTY edition.

Having to resort to a free 10-day-trial of Gamefly in order to rent the original just to complete one fucking quest is retarded as fuck. Anyone have a copy and wanna help a brotha out?

I had almost 100 saves for oblivion by the time I was done, and even then there's still about 2-3 quests still on my log that I can't complete. You should be saving pretty often with most bioware/bethesda games, or play on the PC so you can use the console to fix it.

I couldn't finish one of the guild quests in the original either. Think it was a fighter's guild one, had to go in some cave and grab something off a corpse but... corpse never spawned. No matter how many times I tried. Game is just buggy as fuck and you should save (to a new slot) every 5 minutes if you do not want to suffer from the bullshit.
