How do you get PS3 controller to work?

Since I didn't want to filter through the random question thread, how does one get the PS3 controller to work for this game? My PC can see the controller fine but it wont map anything on the ff14 config nor will it do anything in game. Any drivers needed? Running win7 64 bit.

Download DS3 tool for 64 bit OS. Works like a charm.

They got the drivers signed by Microsoft?

If it's still the same as it was, you'll have to F8 during every windows boot-up and disable the signed drivers check option if you want it to work. The driver download pages should have rather simple step-by-step instructions either way.

If you go into test mode, it will automatically let you do it (so no, they aren't signed by Microsoft).
