Fuck if I know! The one I downloaded a while back was just a folder with a few files in. You throw the entire folder in PSP/GAME and then just run it like you would an ISO from the XMB. I didn't have any save corruption either.

Success! PSP2 worked and transferred my trial save, and the Valkyrie Profile disc in the drive ran fine and read my old save.

You're an idiot. GEN-D is far more heavily supported than m33. You can ALWAYS get updates faster and they work better most of the time, there's no reason not to upgrade other than being as stupid as you are.

Yeah that must have been the problem then, oh well. I didn't have a whole ton of interest in PSP2 and there's nothing else I care about going online for just yet. Maybe if Portable 3rd has online support I'll swap to one of the firmwares that does actually work.
