Shit looks pretty lame. B list cast of actors as well. Not sure if want since I'm huge sucker for these alien invasion type films. The presence of Turk does redeem the movie a bit though.

Movie looks awesome, love the designs of the ships. Turk's presence does help, but I would still have wanted to watch this regardless.

The movie looks good. Definitely an "Independence Day" feel to it (we get our ass kicked and somehow pull through as per trailer). Personally, I like seeing B list actors in movies like these. Gives them opportunities for better things. Will Smith wasn't all that big when that movie came out either if I remember correctly.

There seems to be a lot of characters, so I'm not expecting the story to be too incredibly deep. Given what they showed in the trailer, I'm also not really expecting any huge twists. We're probably gonna get exactly what we expect with this movie, which is a CGI jerkoff like Transformers.

I still love alien invasion movies, so I'll undoubtedly watch it the day it comes out.

...which is why I and most other people see these types of movies. Don't care about the plot or the characters, just want to see some shit get blown up.

Only two things that will probably ruin this movie for me are 1) Turk saves the world while giving witty wisecracks or 2) The aliens are defeated and leave from some type of "understanding humans" bullshit.

Going by the trailer, the acting is bad and the premise is nothing interesting. My attention is solely being called upon by the shiny lights.
