Skeleton Drops?

I've tried doing some research on this to no avail. There are higher level, non-leve skelly mobs, around level 40ish, I think, that drop high level gear, like the Ripped Haubergeon and some nice eyepatch. There is some debate on forums about whether the skellies still drop these pieces. Some say they do, other have said otherwise.

Can anyone confirm whether they still drop or not?

I have never heard or seen of a Ripped Haubergeon coming from skeletons. Skull Eyepatches still drop off skeletons if you incapacitate their heads, estimated ~5% drop rate.

Wow, I've knocked the head off of every skeleton I've fought and I've never seen an eyepatch. :[

The following ashkin (undead) no longer drop equipment:
Rotting Corpses, Fallen Soldiers, Fallen Pikemen, Fallen Captains, Fallen Mages, Fallen Wizards, Skeleton Soldiers, Wight Warriors, Wendigo
