how do you use emulators?
I have never used an emulator before but i cannot seem to get my zsnes one to work. I wanted to play ff3, but it will only play the intro to the game, never actually lets me play. I have a xbox controller and was trying to use it. I know it recognizes it since it lets me set it up, but still wont work. I am unsure how to do this.
I also was curious how I would go about playing ff10 on my pc?

I don't have any experience with PS2/N64 emulators as back in the day they were always super buggy and laggy
but as for SNES there should be a way to set up your controller in the options, but if that's not the actual problem (I can't tell if you're not able to play it because it doesn't run or because you can't use your controller) there are a few guides on how to update your openGL and other things, it should be easy to find as most places that have emulators also have the other things necessary to run the emulators

When you set the buttons in the input menu are they registering properly? Do you have keyboard/gamepad selected? Can you play with stuff set to keyboard keys?
As for FFX: http://pcsx2.net/ there's guides and stuff on the site but when you get in the realm of PS2 emulation things get much more complicated and you need a pretty good PC to handle it well.
