You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

    Ugh, fail ventrilo issue

So my husband and I both use the same USB logitech headset.

My husband's headset stopped hearing sound last night, but only in vent. the mic still works.

I told him to have us switch headsets to see if it was broken. When we switched I couldn't hear (through his headset), but he could hear through mine.

    So figured his was broken.

However, when we switched back, now I can't hear out of my own headset..and he still can't hear out of his.

    note:

    this is only ventrilo

If I do the test option in ventrilo I can hear myself when it plays back. My husband cannot.

    the "mute" boxes aren't checked

I had someone SS their settings to see if mine changed somehow, but they all seem the same.

    drivers are up-to-date

    Tried logging out and in.

I could have bought an 11 pull and have 1000 gems left over, but all I got was this silly title.

Under output device in setup, you may have to manually select the headphones. In fact, I have my output to my speakers despite having headphones on.

Other example is when I play Heroes of Newerth and plug in my headset, the audio wont transfer to my headset until I either close the program or select it in options, which proceeds to restart the program anyways.
