I've been getting this alot lately with Utorrent open either downloading or uploading shit when it's open, It's freezing my computer for a few minutes until (I assume it goes away. My Harddrive is 1tb where the downloads folder is, and has plenty of space and no other programs are accessing anything else on that Harddrive. Anyone has any Idea what the fuck is wrong? I've been having this problem for a few months now but ignoring it since it wasn't popping up much, but now it's really ridiculous.

Could it be utorrent? I've looked up this problem and couldn't really find any solutions to it

I've never had that problem with utorrent, but I mostly have the default settings and 2-4 max downloads and whatever uploads came at default (I've changed that to 2 ups and 1 dld now). My suggestion, uninstall/set everyting to default in utorrent, and see what happens.

I believe that's a measure of how busy the drive is, making it slower to dl/ul. It sounds like your dl destination may be on a different drive than your os, and maybe that drive is not in use but your os drive is pegged doing something and that's what it is complaining about?

Here is the official forum complaint.. I was trying to seed something I had (Sailor Moon Stars) and it did that; I'll try again once I finish downloading the anime I'd started earlier.

This is making me consider looking for a new BT client ><

Funny I was running 2.2 utorrent, not 3.0

Yeah that IS wierd. Maybe it's the newer versions of that?

As for me, I got fed up and have switched to qbittorrent. Not as many bells and whistles as utorrent but it does what I need it to.
