Red Dwarf Series 10

Rumors have been confirmed via Robert Llewellyn's twitter account.

Series 10 of Red Dwarf announcement just been made at Dimension Jump 09. To clarify the scripts have been commissioned, won't be filming until 2010.

I've been a huge fan of Red Dwarf since the first few series and wasn't really satisfied with the way the last series ended. Didn't like the Back to Earth specials too much either, and hoping they go back more to their roots. Also, to keep the Back to Earth specials secret, they chose not to show it to a live audience so the specials didn't feature the laughter track, I don't know if they'll be doing this again but I hope not, I for one thought it added a bit of atmosphere to the show.

I stopped watching this series about the time Rimmer left and Kochanski was made a cast member. Still, watching this made be grin like an idiot anyway! :D

Absolutely loved RD in its prime - god they look old now but I'll be watching it anyway. Despite the fact I always end up with the bloody Arnold Rimmer song wedged in my head for days after watching any of the episodes.

Ah, Rimmer. He was the best of them all. I ended up watching (and loving) the Brittas Empire because of Chris Barrie.
