Video playback problem

I asked this in RQT but no response, and now I've noticed another symptom.

I recently upgraded a new video card. Now when I play a video in MPC it only shows the bottom right hand corner of the video. Earlier I tried burning a movie in Nero, and as it was doing the rendering, it only showed the video on a small left hand portion of the screen. Any thoughts?

no clue, but I tried to google the problem and this post already showed up in the google search, heh. when you upgraded, did you remove the old gfx drivers correctly? like with driver sweeper?

Try Jetaudio free and see if it'll play. It has it's own built in codecs that plays just about everything so you can rule out codec issues.
