Ipod Line-out LOD

Would anyone be able to recommend a good one to me? I've tried to fiio L1 and L3 and I've had 3 or 4 total, none of them lasting any longer than 3 months.

These little $10 are adding up.

Anyone knows of an LOD that will last a little longer but under $30?

There are a ton of different products out there on the ol chinese bargain sites. I think Apple makes an official version of the adapter in the first link.

Hmm would those give the same sound quality as a reg LOD? I'd assume so, but just want to confirm (as vs headphone jack)

I would assume so. I have ordered countless things from dealextreme. It takes some time to get the stuff but I think only once I ordered an item that turned out to be crap. Best thing to do is read the reviews and see what other people who bought the thing thought.

You know if you still have the old cable, you could probably cut one of your "bad" ones and use some wire from a pair of inexpensive headphones from the dollar store.
