Damon Albarn announces end of Blur, Gorillaz
God damnit.Albarn has told London’s Guardian newspaper that Blur will release just one more single, Under the Westway, before folding.
He also revealed he’s fallen out with Jamie Hewlett, his partner in Gorillaz, and Gorillaz is unlikely to make any more music.

Gorillaz got really really fucking weird with Plastic Beach, and I wasn't terribly interested in The Fall. Oh well, we'll always have the eponymous and Demon Days, Gorillaz ♥

Eh, I always thought the Gorillaz were over-hyped anyway. Didn't Blur make that annoying Woo Hoo song?

Agreed, Gorillaz were fairly horrible. Blur's "Song 2" was intended to be a parody of grunge but the public didn't understand it and loved it, or so the legend says. Originally Posted by Fhloston

It is Blur's "Creep." People completely misunderstood the song and weren't fans of their remaining discography.
