    BG Dermatology: Rough skin patches

Aside from being plagued with razor bumps under my chin after shaving, my skin is fine. But last Friday, I woke up with a rough patch of skin on my cheek under my right eye and another on the bridge of my nose. They hurt like a bitch just from washing my face and the morning air felt like boiling acid, but there was no scarring or discoloration. By the weekend, they got bigger but didn't hurt as much. I woke up today and now they've turned into pinkish splotches with dark spots and peeling around the border. I haven't really done anything different hygiene wise, I usually use different unscented soaps based on what's on sale, coca butter lotion, change my sheets regularly, and use arm and hammer detergent. Is this worth worrying over?

    Eczema or rash I think

Hydrocortizone cream looks like the solution.

It's probably just a mild allergic reaction to semen

Could be psoriasis but I don't think it actually hurts? I guess it depends on the person. There's probably no cause for alarm...unless there is and it's lupus.

Razor bumps? Stop shaving with disposable razor shit and get DE razor. Learn to fucking shave correctly. At the very least use Bump Stopper since you have the blax.

    You don't shave your nose.

    Go to a doctor.

You should post pics. Are you allergic to anything? Maybe you ate something bad. Do the spots show up anywhere else, perhaps somewhere you wouldn't think to check (upper back, armpits, etc.)? If you have health insurance just go see a dermatologist because if it's not an allergic reaction it's probably fungus.

Looks like I was worried for nothing. Did some more searching and the symptoms match wind burn, which must be sunburn's cousin. Makes sense since the wind chill has been a bitch in the morning when I walk to work. I put some neosporin on and it almost went away overnight. If this is what white people deal with on their whole body in the summer, I'm glad I'm black

I made the topic using tapatalk. For some reason you can't change the tag

    man, thats crazy
i've had this too, when i was 400+ lbs. it was around my cheeck and the side of my eyes, and it felt like a sandpapery-like material. i dont know what helped cure it (although i have a good idea) but i know what DIDNT help. and its facial creams. they suck. but if that neosporin helped, than i guess it wasnt as severe lol

since than, i've become quite the well groomer and use this:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i00_details

it helped get rid of the excess stains i had left a few months ago, but i still use it now for maintenance and absolutely love it.
