I just paid $3.70 a gallon this morning, and I'm fucking pissed.
This is Obama's fault somehow, and we need to protest! I hear the price of oil is still increasing and we should expect to see $5/gallon this Summer.

I wish gas was still $3.70 here. I paid $4.07/gallon yesterday for regular.

well, who was prez when oil went over 3$ a gallon the first time? and pissed off all those oil producing countries? and hedge funds started speculating the oil market and artificialy inflating the price per barrel even further? can't seem to remember his name....

I guess it's cheaper here in Texas. Yall should off shore drill more. You get cheaper gas, tar lined beaches, toxic seafood, and a coast line that looks like the set from water world. Small price to pay IMO.

$4.03 last time I filled up and that was only due to me having a .30 a gallon rebate from safeway -_- I miss filling up my old civic for 9 dollars.

$4.13/gal average along the I-5 corridor in Portland.
Fracking just sounds like a really really bad idea from the simpleton explanations and animated clips I have seen of how it works. There's nothing like purposefully fracturing deep fissures in the earth then draining them of the viscous liquid that keeps them stable...I'll be interested to see the seismological data in areas that Fracking is prevalent.

Damn I remember when I was in Elementary school the station a block from my place sold gas @ $1.09. For some reason I took note of gas prices that day and I've never forgotten since then. Nowadays it's a combination of these two:

The scientists that the oil companies pay all say it's safe. Just need to stay on your toes so you don't fall into a sinkhole. Also don't smoke while watering your lawn.

Gas was $1.15 for reg when I was a senior in HS iirc.
