It's been a week since I saw the movie, and I watched Thor for the first time the other day (whoops, wrong order), and so now you guys have all seen it I can ask you: Given the destruction of the bifrost bridge to Earth, how did Thor get back to Earth, and why didn't he go visit Jane while he was there? Or at least call her or SOMETHING.

Didn't Loki mention that it must've taken a lot of Odin's power to send Thor to earth? I assume his power kind of circumvented the need for the bridge.

OK this is a good point, but not GOOD FOR CONTINUITY

hopefully in Avengers 2 Natalie Portman ends up working with Thanos to pay Thor back for ignoring her in Avengers 1.

Odds are what they'll end up doing is have Thor 2 take place before Avengers if they are that worried about continuity.

Pretty sure they already said Portman had signed on for Thor 2. My guess is their relationship ends in that movie and Thor starts banging Sif like in the comics.
