    OH -- GOOD NEWS (this is mostly for anti, demo, and the other phone nerds)

    stupid Nexus S finally got android 4.0 OTA release

    it's less laggy than 2.3.1 so far, and has stopped capping my texts to each contact at 200

    stopped waiting for it (forgot) after 2 months went by from when 2 of the recent android models had the OTA release

    I tried the direct download but mine had an A at the end instead of a B? I forget



    in any case, anyone have a recent android phone they're happy with? I think I can upgrade in the near future

    no, I'm with Fido, a sister company of Rogers, in Canada

    one provider had the model that had the OTA upgrade upon release, and although mine was essentially the same model, it had an A at the end instead of a B or vice versa

    Unless you are running custom firmware, nexus is always the way to go.
