anime title

Ok, I don't remember a lot from the anime all I know is I did watch it at one point and it's all of a sudden bugging the hell out of me that I can't figure out what the name of it is.

All I can remember off the top of my head is something about a ninja clan guarding something (oil maybe? it's underground if I remember correctly). The leader guides a couple (2 or 3) members of a foreign knight order down into it, at which point it's noticed by the nights that the ninjas crest and the knights crest are very similar. the architecture of the ruins is western style, rather then the japanese style you'd expect from the ninja clan.

It's not much to go on and I may have some details off, but it's bugging the hell out of me. Google failed me, I must not be good with the google. Any guesses would probably healp out a lot, because my downloads/netflix streaming log hasn't helped.
