    Media Player Classic Install question

I have a friend with no internet so I was going to download MPC for him and put it on a usb so he can watch mkv stuff on his pc, but I'm wondering if you need to be connected to the internet to install MPC or if there is an offline installer.
I googled mpc offline installer, but that wasn't much help.
If anyone has an answer and/or a link to such an app, help would be appreciated.

You can install MPC without a connection. Did it a few days ago after I formatted my laptop, but before I went and did the setup of wifi on it

yeah what MS offers is probably one those "download a small file, to start a web installer to download what is needed" things.

MPC(HC) isn't by microsoft and is a full "stand alone" installer.
And screw codec packs... There's no reason for them as long as you use a decent player like MPC or VLC with integrated codecs.
