Ballista

Hello, I am a new player currently about to purchase FFXI. I played a little over 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, however, I understand FFXI is a PvE game, but I want to join a server where Ballista and the other PvP modes are active. From research it appears a year ago Carbunkle was the place to be for Ballista specifically. That was a year ago though and I want to see if Carbunkle still is today?

Another cool reason to be on Carbunkle is my cousin played FFXI for about 7 or 8 years consistently on Gilgamesh and I hear they're merged now. He doesn't play anymore but it'd still be cool to be there, also incase he ever returns.
