Just in case anyone takes you seriously, they already announced that the Embrava nerf WILL be extended to Meeble Burrows in this version update. Get your last Embrava'ed Umargrhks and/or Samursks out of the way this weekend. However, the nerf won't go elsewhere until the content adjustments happen (and nothing is happening to PD yet).

Both translations are essentially equivalent and imply the same thing, that it will be all of Meeble Burrows, not just the new expeditions. Maybe you're confused because the timing was intended to be when the new expeditions were added? Just want to make sure people are aware of this because you still have a couple days to do Umagrhk or Samursk with un-nerfed Embrava.

Nothing has been mentioned for this update explicitly outside of new Meeble Burrows expeditions and adjustments within Meeble Burrows. Hopefully there's some other stuff, but I wouldn't set the bar very high. Remember the MB stuff was intended to be in December's update and just didn't make the cut so it's more of a completion to December's update than a whole separate one. I'd like to think that some of Matsui's suggested upcoming changes will make this update, but most of them were rather significant so I highly doubt it, especially considering they were all in the "draft" stage when he first posted them.

As far as merit WSes go, the suggestion was to drastically increase the attribute modifier value on the first merit level, then significantly reduce the amount you get per level so that 5 merits in one WS will still be the same as it is now, but one merit in a WS will still be useful.

More aptly, 1 merit would be 65% while 5 would be 85% instead of one being like 17% or so now. I'd still prefer more points to spend into the category, or uncapped merits in general, but it's better than nothing.

is actually the point of merits. if everyone could merit everything, they might as well just raise the level cap or make direct job/ws adjustments. that really isn't what they wanted.

I always argued they should put all the merits under the job, hp/mp, combat skills, everything. I've found it insanely dumb that my cor/sam has 120 mp when naked before I unmerited MP for HP.

Yah, it would mean we had to merit stuff over for each job, but so what at this point? Also it would be a nice time sink for SE to throw at us.
