Black Squares errors all over Firefox

This started happening this morning. Last night 2 things changed

Was having issues hooking up my laptop to my 22inch monitor was scaling correctly to fullscreen.
Google-fu told me to re-install CCC (catalyst control center). Pretty sure it has something to do with this.

Notice it only happens when im scrolling a page and a .gif comes up

    Spoiler: show

Any ideas? (allready restarted / endtasked CCC / restarted firefox) still getting errors

    Rollback your graphics drivers.

to do that ima need my disk at home... i never updated them i think installing ccc may have done it for me.. its an 7970m pretty sure it was factory drivers got this laptop back in December never updated drivers. CCC wasn't even working correctly when i tried plugging in my monitor thats what forced me to re-install. But wasnt having this error before. will try with the discs when i get home..

You can download an archived version of the previous driver.

Just get one from november and see if that fixes it. Since you obviously updated to the most recent one.

The problem has been observed under Windows 7 and Windows 8 running Catalyst 12.11 Beta or 13.1 or 13.2 Beta and Firefox 18.0 and 18.0.1.

The solution is to either go back to Catalyst 12.10 or it appears that Firefox 18.0.2 will fix the problem.

Wait for official 18.0.2 or download Release Candidate Firefox 18.0.2:

    ftp.mozilla
    .org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/18.0.2-candidates/build1/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%2018.0.2.exe

I'm glad you created an account to post that but the problem was already resolved.
