    Converting old car to EV?

I'm wanting to make a hobby of converting my old Mercury Cougar into an electric car and from what I understand you get a tax credit for doing so?

Where do I begin finding these conversion kits and does anyone have any experience with it?

My first car was a cougar. Great car, but the mpg sucked.

That's all, I have nothing else to contribute.

Heh, I was just mentioning to my wife yesterday how, if I were automechanically inclined, I would *love* to buy a del Sol and do this to it.
