Jug Pets and iLVL

Just looking into the mechanics and caps on the new pets (if they're known). I saw the testing on nazuna and clyvone, supporting the theory that the aug'ed relic +2 gloves can take a 99 cap pet to 114 with the appropriate iLVL weapon equiped.

My questions:

Can a 99 cap pet be taken higher than 114 (is there another way to enhance beast affinity)?

Do the new jug pets have the traditional 99 cap starting point or is it naturally higher?

1) no. +15 is max you can go with max BA and the augments Monster Gloves

2) it's naturally higher.

Also to add some of the older ones actually end up not going all the way to 114.

NN caps at 86 to begin with so merits+ auged gloves could at most take it to 101. Similarly Crafty Clyvonne is 90.

And there is some testing on the newest jugs on alla. Last I checked they only had tested 2/4 because well 2 kinda suck to get/make but they had a natural cap of at least 115 for those 2

from what i can find, it looks like Swirling Broth is Dorwins jug. If anyone has the opportunity to test the new ones ... well gosh, that would be just swell.

There's a bst or 2 on alla that do most the jug testing. Most of it is over there

At least till they up the ilvl again and don't add higher capping jugs for a few updates after that.

Yeah though hopefully all the bitching will encourage them to not do that. Last I saw they said something about making pets natural cap at around the current ilvl cap and sure enough this set does

Figured I'd put it here but has anyone noticed something weird with the boar pets AoE move? Like twice now I've had it hit another monster in range that it wasn't fighting and it didn't aggro even though it did dmg. In fact seems to happen every time. Of course not like it seems to be that big advantage of things. I mean it's range is horribad lol

Anytime I've used the boar's attack with an enemy nearby, it never connected.
Even right on top of each other.

I would also love to know what the 4 new jug pets iLvLs are and how to obtain them, etc.

The synergy recipes were all in the update notes. Though one was wrong. And the crafting ones are the same but with crystal and in the crafting update section. The 2 tested were at least lvl 115 http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/forum.htm...162868956&p=10
