Samsung S4 stock text app replacement?

I had this emoji thing on S3 that I liked, my friend had a saltine cracker (of all things) and I just copied it to sim and suddenly I had a plugin that put a smiley face on my keyboard and gave me access to a bunch of emojis that other people could see even if they didn't have that app

all I can find are emoji keyboards(all seem terrible)

do any of you guys use Textra or Hangouts or whatever?

i use stock txt app with swiftkey kb app, its the shit. i bought the full version i liked it so much. prob not exactly what you looking for, i can do emojis tho

when you text emojis to someone that doesn't have swiftkey can they see it?

Swiftkey is free now, all you get for paying are extra themes.

Most keyboards now have built in emojis. I know the Google keyboard you have to long press the enter key to get the emojis to pop up.
