Threads refuse to display latest page.

For the past week I've been having an issue where when I try to view the last post of a thread, instead it'll display the next-to-last page of the thread and clicking to move to the next page just loads the same page. I have experienced this in multiple threads across multiple subforums.

Things I have tried:
Closing and reopening chrome
Logging out and back into my forum account
Deleting cookies

The only thing I've found that works is changing the forum setting to display a different amount of posts per page, but that only works so long as I stay on that PPP setting, and even then it seems only a matter of time until the bug repeats itself. I have seen this occur at 30, 40, and 50 PPP.

I had previously thought these were the "database issues" that mods warned about occurring due to "megathreads" but the issue recurred today despite all the huge threads being broken off.

I just had this happen to me in the Destiny 2 thread. I cannot see theshun's post, only Serra's. Although I can see all of the posts while not logged in. I know Kaslo has had an issue with the Destiny 2 thread and IC with the DBZ thread before it was split.

The new DBZ thread is the one I'm currently having the issue with, though it has also happened a couple times with the overwatch thread and I think once in poopdeck.

Oh yeah, I had this issue too, I opened it on a different computer, got to the next page, and it stopped (for now). Never figured out what the problem was.

I think I saw it once but I think it might be related to how vBulletin handles moderated post count vs real post count. Still trying to figure that shit out.

I've only noticed it multiple times Overwatch thread. The issue does not seem to affect Tapatalk if that helps

I've noticed this on a few posts in the past week or two, and if you have any issues, a temporary solution is to "go advanced" below the posting box, and you can at least see the most recent posts if you scroll down a little bit under the posting box stuff.

Destiny II thread is on page 24 for me, it will not go past 23 lol. even manually changing page to 24 in the URL just redirects to top of 23.

Isnt the first time I've had the issue and usually a post or two allows me to access the next page but not yet.

Found the problem: it's when posts are soft moderated in the thread as in only hidden which fuck up the post count for paging.



Also improved the description when moderators are about to delete posts.

This means moderators will need to nuke all the previously soft moderated posts to fix the threads.

the same thing is happening in Final Fantasy XI/FFXI: Everything/Gearswap Help Thread! page 295 is completely blocked and there should be 2+ posts on that page i have tested it with Opera/Mozilla/Chrome/IE/Edge on several computers but still no bwano
