I haven't watched any of the FF movies beyond Tokyo Drift but I know that Shaw killed Han so did they make friends with Shaw after that? Doesn't seem like something you'd let go of easily.

He went through a redemption arc. Watch 7 and 8.

8 was a mess and Shaw was basically the only good part of it. The crew is cool with him now. That's about all you need to know from that.

I would have been fine if they stopped after 7 or continued on, but since they chose the latter at least come up with some better ideas than with 8. I'm all for a Shaw spinoff, but I can do without Hobbs. At the end of the day, it's all about the money though, so whatever.
