TOR 6 - Toronto has been good all year and has been getting spectacular goaltending, which is what you need in the playoffs.
TB 7 - TB started slow and has been a monster the back half of the year. Tkachuk is a huge question mark. Can't believe no one has picked them yet.
WSH 6 - Like I'm actually gonna pick against my team, especially in the 1st rd.
CAR 6 - There's no team I hate more than CAR. Getting Dougie back is big for NJD, but no Hughes sucks

WPG 6 - Best goaltender in the league against the hottest team in the league. WPG is due in the playoffs.
COL 6 - Dallas is super hurt. Colorado isnt. Will Gabe be back to at least mostly his old self? I hope so.
VGK 6 - Vegas is really good. I hate it. MIN was one of the best in the league til they got hurt (a lot). I'm curious if Kaprizov + JEE are actually healthy or playoff healthy.
EDM 7 - Hardest series to pick. I'm gonna keep picking EDM in this matchup until LAK does it

Biggest 1st rd upset potential: MIN over VGK

The Leafs are just much deeper on defense than the Sens and I would die for Anthony Stolarz. The battles of Ontario and Florida are going to be bloodbaths. I wanted to pick the Habs to keep the all-Canadian ECF dream alive but I just think their goaltending is going to turn back into a pumpkin even though I also think there is potential for Washington to get lazy after having spent so much time and mental energy chasing down the goals record for Ovechkin.

I don't believe the narrative McDavid is trying to sell that they aren't riddled with injuries and I think this time the Kings are finally going to get it done, but that series and the Avs/Stars are going to be very tight. Vegas is Vegas, and the Blues are going to come back down to earth at some point. I'm not betting against my boy Mark.

A lot of y'all talking like the bolts are going anywhere cause of the run they're on, but all I see is a gassed hockey club against the defending champions that's like 10ish mil over the cap and almost entirely rested. Good fucking luck
