That's why statik PTs never worked out for me, no matter how many times I tried. People's schedule always got in the way, at least in my instance. Sadly, every time someone proposes to make a statik for a job they want to level, I cringe on the inside.

6-man statics suck for scheduling. My most successful exp statics had a core of 3-4 players, and we'd just pick up the rest. The deal was, if you showed up by 7pm, you'd get invited. Not there? Someone else took your place in the static. Wanted back in? Catch up.

The point was to get to a solid camp with 6 before everything got crowded and make 30-35k, and then get the hell out. Worked beautifully.

What happened was two level 10 Taru mages, one WHM and the other BLM, were walking through Windurst one day when a Galka came up, grabbed them, and rubbed them together furiously to see if he could make sparks to set off some fireworks. He did set off his fireworks, but the sad result was that the two mages were permanently stuck together with the power of electromagnetism. They had no choice but to party together, and that is why we call parties like that "static", because socks will stick to your clothes when you join one of these groups.

(Oh, and in case you are wondering, the Galka eventually found out the sad predicament and felt badly. So he found the Tarus and threw them in a washer/dryer combo with some fabric softener, after 30 minutes on "fluff" they finally lost all of their cling. They are living happily, but they are both deathly afraid of Galkas now.)

I went from 30-75 in a static. Kind of a nice thing when you really only want to play 3 hours a night. *shrug*

i went from 12 rdm -> 63rdm in a static and 37nin->70ninja in one. they are nice but annoying sometimes.

Statics own as long as you're intelligent enough to get people with similar schedules, ie, you don't want a static where one member has class from 9am-11am and another who has class from 1pm-5pm, etc.
