that's disappointing... maybe the other guy stole it... either way Dane presents the material better lol
Fuck bees.
They both have shows on HBO too, lol.
Apparently, the first guy is Louis CK, star of that show Lucky Louie.
yeah its true, and im glad. he was getting way too arrogant as a comedian.
depressing
edit: didnt he think someone would notice lol?
no idea which one of those came first.![]()
You know, comedians frequently get other comedians permission to use their material, right? It happens all the time when they find something particularly funny, and want to recreate it. Unless someone comes forward saying "This was mine, X stole it", theres really no point in sharing.
Well if you read that blog it says that Louis CK had that material on his CD in 2001, Dane had his version on his 2003 CD. So... it also says that there was a rumor that Louis was going to sue Dane but HBO "settled it" between them. Rumors are also... rumors.
I actually think Louis' versions are better anyways, Dane is too predictable
<3 Dane Cook.
This thread is in great need of http://www.cringehumor.net/hacks/ & http://www.cringehumor.net/legends/
Comics will frequently borrow material from other comics.
Red Foxx:
"This girl asked me: 'can you give me 12 inches and hurt me?' I said 'ok' and I fucked her twice and hit her in the head with a brick.'"
Some other guy a few years later (for the fucking life of me i can't remember his name!)
"This girl asked me: 'can you give me 12 inches and hurt me?' I said 'ok' and I fucked her three times and hit her in the head with a brick.'"
Predictable as in you've heard him a buncha times before? I don't see how you can "predict" one joke over another, when they both pretty much have the same outcomes.Originally Posted by AriaEminence

Ok thanks, that shit was driving me crazy.Originally Posted by mrfridays

I always hated Dane Cook. IMO was never funny.
